Thing 10 = Technology blogging
OCL needs to blend age groups in our community by partnering Seniors [60+ patrons born before 1946] with Generation Y [teens 13 to 17, born between 1989 to 1994] and Generation Next [18 to 25 year olds, born between 1981 and 1988]. Generation Next is described by The Pew Research Center for the People and the Press as "the cohort of young adults who have grown up with personal computers, cell phones and the internet and are now taking their place in a world where the only constant is rapid change." Working together, generations would combine technological and writing skills, while exploring and understanding values of importance to each set of people.
